Maths Teaching that Sticks

Nice To Meet You

As a qualified maths teacher I have a passion for mathematics. I enjoy helping students build real confidence in maths – from Key Stage One right through to GCSE and A-Level.

I help students overcome fear and frustration by breaking topics down into easy-to-understand steps.

In 2013 I founded a successful maths e-learning company, Cazoom Maths.

I am the creator of Honey Bee Maths – www.honeybeemaths.com.

I have created thousands of resources that have been used all over the UK by hundreds of students.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lessons are £25 for KS1 and KS2, £30 for KS3 and GCSE, and £70 for A-Level. Prices reflect the level of preparation, subject knowledge and support needed at each stage.

All tuition takes place online using Google Meet and an interactive digital whiteboard. Students can see explanations clearly, work through questions in real time and receive support just as they would in a face-to-face lesson.

Yes. Learning is not compromised online. In fact, many students feel more comfortable learning from home. The interactive whiteboard makes it easy to explain methods, model solutions, correct mistakes and build confidence step by step.

The trial lesson is a chance to discuss the student’s targets, current grades, learning needs and desired outcomes. We may also talk about their maths set, confidence levels and any particular topics they find difficult, so the tuition can be properly tailored from the beginning.

The first full lesson is used for assessment for learning. This means I assess where the student is currently, identify gaps in understanding and begin planning the most effective route forward.

Yes. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and safeguarding training. I usually liaise with parents or carers rather than directly with students. With permission, I may send the Google Meet link directly to the student’s email, but communication remains professional at all times.

I have 19 years of maths tuition experience and 3 years of classroom teaching experience. I have worked with students in London, Wolverhampton and across the UK, helping them build confidence, improve understanding and work towards their target grades.
